The Ukrainian bell carol is set accessibly once in a minor then in c minor. The opening motive is then used to overlap into the next carol, "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" and is used to punctuate this tune at intervals. The rest of the fully scored arrangement goes back and forth between the two tunes with overlapping and layering of the carols. Measures total 150.
