Review:
Louis Vierne's Lied was the inspiration for this arrangement by Jefferey Hall for 3-octaves of bells and optional 2 to 3-octaves of chimes. The chime parts are given diamond-shaped notation, which has the added benefit of showing the melody's movement. The texture is flowing with eighth notes and the LV technique enhances this. A fair amount of chromatic movement occurs in passages.
