A harmonically rich and expressive setting of this traditional spiritual is written for 3-5 octaves. The melody has a triplet figure that may take a little practice to achieve a smooth execution. Drills to obtain this are given in the performance notes. The melody changes positions between upper and lower bells while the style of accompaniment changes as well.
