Rondo Exultate

Review:      Commissioned for the 20th anniversary of a handbell ministry in Massachusetts, this original composition by "Maggie" Tucker fits the handbell instrument like a fine, kid glove. Using the Rondo form she presents a march-like theme that calls for precision ringing and "snappy" attitude. A later theme slow things apace and woos the more dignified theme to grace and beauty. The final section is marked "grandly" and calls once again for some "spit and polish", but, please, not on the bells!
