Review:
Keyboard and 3-5 octaves of bells form an effective duo in this traditional spiritual. The bells get the melody rolling in octaves, but soon hand it over to the keyboard while they take up a syncopated vamp. Mallets on tabled bells enters the picture on scale passages and then settle on the bass line. A broad section ends the work with full chords and fortissimo dynamic. Arranged in C Major and Eb Major, measures total 71.
