Review:
Daniel B. Towner's hymn tune is introduced with full chordal texture. After a key change the accompaniment is marked "piano" as the bass takes the melody in octaves. A nice counter melody appears in the uppermost register. In the third section Mr. Morris uses a ring-thumb damp-ring accompaniment to lend a march-like feel to the piece.
