Review:
LOBE DEN HERREN (Praise the Lord) has been set by that successful arranger duo, Janet Linker and Jane McFadden for 3 to 5-octaves with organ and/or brass accompaniment. The texture, for the most part, is chordal with some alternating, eighth-note accompaniment. It's also fully scored to balance against an organ or brass section. Marked level III plus, but easily accessible to level III choirs with a good work out on precision chordal ringing. Brass ensemble is two trumpets, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba and Timpani.
