Ein Feste Burg

Review:      This two-page fanfare is set for 3 or 4-5 octaves of handbells with optional organ and brass. Written in the key of C, it is triumphant and heraldic in nature with sudden shifts of harmony. This arrangement may be used as a fitting intrroduction to Luther's hymn "A Mighty Fortress is Our God". Brass ensemble consists of 2 trumpets, one trombone, one either bass trombone or tuba.
