Review:
This composition is based, in part, on Bach's "Suite No. 1 (Prelude) for Unaccompanied Cello" and is reflective in its character. The challenge comes in the many ritards, accelerandos and other tempo changes. The accompaniment is almost entirely made up of eighth-note rhythms with a sparse overall texture.
