Review:
Words cannot possibly do justice to describe this original work by Hart Morris. It was commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the tragic bombing in Oklahoma City, honoring the memory of those killed and all who were impacted in every way on that horrific day. Hart has used Singing Bell, gentle mallet rolls in the bass, and a few of the top 5th octave suspended bells randomly malleted to create an ethereal and engaging introduction. The lyrical melody speaks directly to the heart and is supported by flowing countermelodies, LV passages, plus perfectly placed Shakes. Expression and dynamics are important throughout and essential to engage and inspire all who are fortunate to hear this deeply moving work. This original music is perfect to add to your group’s repertoire and can be used in any worship, concert, or memorial setting.
