Review:
This lovely Christmas hymn was written in 1871 and it appears in more than 90 hymnals worldwide. The melody is engaging and sweet, and Ann has arranged it a lovely solo. She included a four-bell descant while the piano features the hymn and suggests those four notes may be malleted on a bell tree. Either way, this will be enchanting to program in a candlelight Christmas Eve service, a gentle anthem in worship, and more.
The piano accompaniment is accessible for less experienced keyboardists.
