Review:
The festive, creative arrangements of Mannheim Steamroller have become staples of the Christmas season. First UMC of Allen, Texas commissioned arranger Michael Glasgow to adapt this evergreen favorite for handbells, and it works beautifully for anywhere from 3 to 7 octaves, with or without the optional parts for brass, timpani, drum kit, synthesizer and/or strings. Glasgow has stayed extremely faithful to Chip Davis's source arrangement, right down to the key (so your group can even practice along with Mannheim's recording!).
