Review:
This original by Ron Mallory is an ideal piece for the developing handbell choir, or a quick-to-learn yet musically effective option for more advanced groups. The combination of the minor key with energetic rhythms, multiple handbell techniques, and optional handchimes evokes the message of Psalm 42:11: 'Why are you cast down, O my soul...? Hope in God, for I shall again praise him.' Available in compatible 2-3 and 3-5 octave editions, this piece makes an excellent choice for festival or concert use as well as for general worship.
