Patrick's beautiful original work for handbells, flute, and oboe is lyrical and engaging with a melody that will stay with you long after the music has ended. The melody is featured in the flute and oboe, magically interwoven with the gently flowing handbell score. It is so well-written that your group will naturally play it with expression and nuance.
It begins in 4/4 and with a nicely-crafted key change from the original Db major to D major as it segues to a gentle dance-like section in 3/4 before returning to 4/4 and the main melody. The texture and tone of the flute and oboe (both are required) are truly the icing on this musical cake! This is the perfect title to add to your group's concert repertoire.
