Note by the composer: this "brief" traditional Latin setting of the Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Mass is written to be short enough for normal liturgical use, but may also be used secondarily in the concert hall. For liturgical use, the Credo is omitted, because the Latin musical setting of it would take much longer than the usual spoken or chanted reading done in most parishes. Another compatible musical Credo may, of course, be sung if desired and time does permit.
