Pastorale is a flowing and lyrical original composition which incorporates a short reference to the hymn tune RESIGNATION. The mood of the piece evokes the spirit of the beloved Psalm 23. This piece is excellent for working on dynamic contrast and legato ringing with your ensemble. Echo technique as well as chimes are used throughout. Your ringers and congregation will truly enjoy this work, which is also a wonderful addition to a concert or festival.
