Review:
This lyrical and lovely song was written in 1955 for the International Children’s Choir – and continues as the 'theme' for this group of children who represent a host of nations. Kurt has created a lovely setting for handbell solo and piano accompaniment. The interplay between bells and accompaniment is fresh and creative and it has some nicely-placed articulations such as Sk and mart. This is a lovely and powerful addition to the handbell soloist’s repertoire.
Although strife in our world is always a concern, today, more than ever, so many in the world are praying for peace.
