Jason Krug’s well-known composition "Compassion" is set here for the handbell soloist with piano accompaniment. Playable either on-the-table or on bell tree, it’s a faithful translation of the original into handbell solo literature. Heartfelt melodies and harmonies give rise to a triumphant statement of hope and mercy before dying away to a quiet conclusion. Certain notes are marked as optional, making the piece more approachable for less experienced ringers. This one is not to be missed!
