"The Entertainer" is the first in a series of Scott Joplin pieces arranged by Jessica Lok for handbell quartet. The entire piece is performed using mallets with a few martellato lifts in the middle to create contrast and bring excitement to the piece. The tempo and the key changes make this a challenging arrangement that emphasizes the dexterity of ringing.
