Review:
These hit Big Band tunes from the 1940s will bring back memories of swing dancing and the fabulous bands of Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, and Duke Ellington. These three beautifully-crafted handbell arrangements are completely faithful to the originals and are artfully woven together into one medley. Al has used a variety of articulations that perfectly emphasize the rhythms and style of these pieces. The addition of handchimes tops it off! This is definitely a ‘must-have’ for your next concert!
157 measures. Begins with "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" in C Major, modulates to F Major for "Moonlight Serenade", then to D Major and Eb Major for "Woodchopper's Ball", and finally to E Major for the grand finish.
