Review:
The arranger has created a delightful setting of this favorite from Edvard Grieg’s “Lyric Pieces” written for piano solo. Thumb damps and mallets are predominately used, interspersed with standard ringing, well-placed mart-lifts, and even singing bell, ending with a table land damp. The piece has two repeated sections – which may be omitted. However, with the repeats, the piece is about 2 minutes in length if performed at tempo. 81 measures.
