Review:
Bill Ingram’s touching medley unites two beloved cradle carols, “Stille Nacht” (Silent Night) and "Away in a Manger", bringing listeners to the peace and quiet joy of the stable in Bethlehem. Each tune is presented on its own, but they also interplay throughout. With the slow tempo, no key changes, and accessible rhythms, relatively little rehearsal time should be necessary to prepare this piece for worship or concert presentation. For a shorter introit or interlude, begin at m. 46. 60 measures. Key of F Major.
