To maintain the echo effect in this transcription for handbells and keyboard, the handbell ensemble should be softer than the keyboard. The dynamics are indicated to reflect this intent. However, they may need to be adjusted to account for differences in timbre and physical placement of the piano or organ in relation to the handbells.
