Review:
American composer Zez Confrey wrote more than 100 ‘novelty’ piano solos in the early 1900s. This ragtime-style piece is a delight and musically depicts a ‘kitten on the keys.’ Much of the piece will play as a Level 3 or 4, but some marted descending chromatic passages and other quick-change chromatics bump this fun piece to a Level 5+ in places. There are repeats that may be omitted giving flexibility in performance. 113 measures.
