From a simple opening statement of the well-known Irish folksong, this arrangement deconstructs the tune on a journey through a wide-ranging and unexpected harmonic progression that ultimately wends it way back to the opening key. A more recognizable iteration of the tune on chimes ensues, which builds to a triumphant climax before fading away once more. This is a new and exciting take on an old favorite. 63 measures.
