The family of a handbell enthusiast Wendy Hoskin commissioned this work, asking that it would reflect her positive personality and love for handbell music. It is thematic with six defined sections reflecting various ‘joys’ of ringing, such as, The Graciousness of Joy, Perseverance and Schlepping Handbells, and Resounding Joy! The different moods, tempi, and styles will keep the listeners engaged throughout. This piece was chosen for the Massed Ringing selection for Debbie Rice’s European Handbell Festival, June 2017. 126 measures.
