Review:
"Quickening Spirit" is a dynamic and exciting new original piece by Hong Kong composer Phoebe T. T. Yeung that explodes with rhythm and drive. The middle section provides beautiful contrast with use of the singing bell technique and handchimes. When the A section returns and you think it can’t get any more exciting, it pops into a higher gear. Ringers and audience will love this rousing piece for a church service or concert. 93 measures. Key of f minor.
