Review:
This beautiful ‘Motette’ was the last of Charles Viliers Stanford’s "Three Latin Motets", published in 1905, for mixed, unaccompanied six-part choir. Arranged by Mr. Dorgan, it works beautifully as a handbell or handchime quintet and can be used throughout the liturgical year. Moderately-advanced ensembles will want to include this beautiful work in their repertoire. *Please note: if played on chimes, the rating changes to 'Advanced' (Difficult) due to 4-i-H passages and quick bell changes. 93 measures. Key of Ab Major.
