Review:
Vasylyna's Tears was written in honor of the Ukrainian people, who continue to struggle for their freedom under a government that refuses to heed their cries. Vasylyna is a common Ukrainian woman's name - she weeps for her lost countrymen. This is a beautiful song filled with lovely, flowing melodies, underlain by a warm and satisfying accompaniment. This could easily be used in worship by substituting the title. There are separate 2 or 3 octave and 4 or 5 octave versions which are compatible for massed ringing. 82 measures. Key of a minor.
