Review:
Joel has crafted a lovely arrangement of this hymn favorite – which features an introspective and ethereal opening using singing bell technique and handchimes. A straight-forward and gently flowing section places the melody in the 4’s and 5’s with a lovely LV bass supporting it. A lively section with mart-lifts and bass mallets, is softened by handchime chords and is simply delightful. He then completes the song with a full, rich ringing of the final verse. This arrangement will be thoroughly enjoyed by ringers and audiences alike. 99 measures. Keys of Eb major, Ab major, and C major.
