Review:
Hart Morris has crafted a winner in this fabulous arrangement of Duke Ellington’s creation. His use of a variety of stopped sounds throughout emphasizes the swing rhythm and underlays the melody, which is emphasized with R, Sk, RT and accented notes, to provide toe-tapping excitement. The addition of pizz string bass and drum set add further energy to this work. This is a “must-have” for all community and school Level 5 groups. 129 measures.
