This is a lyrical combining of the Spanish folk song, A la Nanita Nana, a lullaby for the Holy Infant, and the traditional Catalan Carol of the Bells. Careful use of LV, suspended bells, gentle mallet rolls and more makes this an interesting song for any group to ring and audiences to enjoy. The optional addition of bongos and maracas rounds out this lovely arrangement
A la Nanita Nana begins in the key of E Minor, modulates to E Major and back to E Minor before modulating to A Minor for the transition into Carol of the Birds. Carol of the Birds begins in A Minor, modulates to A Major, then ends in A minor. 97 measures.
