Review:
This serene arrangement of the lovely Christmas/Epiphany carol is ideal for a beginning solo ringer, with its slower tempo, easy rhythms and short length (32 measures). The words for "Brightest and Best" were written by Reginald Heber (1783-1826) and the music was composed by Joseph F. Thrupp (1827-1867), and it was published in 1853 in Psalms and Hymns for Public Worship. Scored in Ab Major.
