The English tune, O WALY, WALY, is paired with NEW BRITAIN (“Amazing Grace”) in this lovely setting. Pervasive use of running eighth-notes move the music with drive and meaning. The rendering of “Amazing Grace” in minor adds to the reflective nature of the piece. This is an excellent change-of-pace option for concerts and a solid choice for funerals, weddings, or any worship. It is 92 measures in length.
