Review:
This jazzy, Bluegrass-inspired treatment of an historic hymn is greatly enhanced by the addition of the optional violin (or fiddle!), double bass and/or tambourine parts. A thoughtful, sensitive opening yields way to a recurring syncopated figure and plenty of stopped-sound techniques in this happy, toe-tapping arrangement perfect for concerts or worship. 64 measures. Keys of F Major and G Major.
