The composer offers many options for performing this wonderful hymn. It is complete for handbells alone (FLHB676), but the director’s score (FLHB675) adds scores for keyboard, Bb trumpet and timpani. The initial verse is straight-forward but with some repeated rhythms added for color. Two final verses offer malleted and martellato percussive effects and high bell descants in wonderful resonant praise. Scored in Ab Major and A Major, this piece is 57 measures in length.
