Review:
Commissioned to honor the former Handbell Musicians of America Chair of Area 7, Jessica Westgard, this is a dramatic, thought-provoking composition crafted by Judy Phillips in which the beautiful "Soliloquy" theme is heard throughout. Expanded use of the Singing Bell technique occurs as sustaining chords are transformed a few notes at a time creating an absolute work of art. Scored in a minor, this composition is 99 measures.
