Review:
This is a stirring set of three familiar classics from the opera literature. Concert audiences will recognize the ‘Toreador Aria’ by Bizet and the ‘Anvil Chorus’ by Verdi, but will perhaps gain new appreciation for the work by Bellini. The transcription requires varying rhythmic patterns but few accidental shifts. The piece is big and bold and very entertaining. 84 measures in length, it is scored in G Major and C Major.
