Review:
Handbells and voices are combined in this setting of an old Danish hymn. The bells have separate solo portions relating to the historic story line but also accompany the four verse vocal portions. This arrangement is straightforward and easy, but colorful and a wonderful addition to the Christmas Eve worship service. 116 measures in all, it is scored in Eb Major.
