Review:
The composer describes this piece as “built around stopped techniques (malleted and RT) as if the notes were hot to the touch”. Repetitious rhythmic patterns of even and syncopated eighths are constant and the difficulty level increases if performed at the fastest suggested tempo. Frequent accidentals add to the challenge, but the piece is exhilarating and worth the effort. It is 110 measures in length.
