Review:
This lovely, sensitive arrangement of the hymn known as “Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us” begins with a brief piano introduction, followed by the handbell soloist ringing a straightforward statement of the first verse. The piano takes over the melody for the beginning of the second verse with the handbells providing complementary motifs and variations on the melody. The closing features the soloist using Shelly or 4-in-hand technique on the final two measures. A total of 58 measures, this solo is arranged in D Major.
