Review:
This is a strong setting of the traditional patriotic tune, AMERICA. The first verse is enhanced by a malleted rhythmic accompaniment. It is followed by a straight-forward verse rung on handchimes in the relative minor key. Verse three features the melody in the base and low treble with an arpeggiated accompaniment in the higher treble bells. A modulation into a new key leads to the dramatic setting of the final verse. Arranged in Eb Major, c minor, and F Major, this majestic rendition is 84 measures.
