Review:
Resonant chords and syncopated rhythms are present as expected in this elegant Latin dance. Patterns of dotted eighth/sixteenth notes are constant but easily done at the relatively slow tempo (quarter = 60). Aside from the sharped sevenths in the d minor key, accidentals are minimal. Mallets are used frequently, along with occasional plucks, marts, thumb damps and shakes, all adding to this exciting 96-measure piece.
