Review:
"Pavane" by Gabriel Fauré was first written as an orchestral work for strings and a few woodwinds. He later enlarged it to include chorus and dancers. The fact that "Pavane" has been transcribed for many instruments in many genres is a tribute to the innate musicality of the work. Set in f# minor, it is 105 measures.
