Review:
The tarantella is a traditional Italian folk dance, usually characterized by an upbeat tempo, written in 6/8 time, and accompanied by tambourines. Martha Lynn Thompson's lively arrangement features all three and is sure to be an engaging favorite for any concert. The main challenge will be keeping up with the lively tempo. A showstopping addition to the Raleigh Ringers series for advanced ensembles, this toe-tapper is scored in d minor and is 111 measures.
