Review:
Bursting with the joy of the season, Susan Geschke’s new treatment of this Christmas favorite is immediately engaging. Exhuberant from the first note to the last, this 2-3 octave setting is suitable for both handbell and handchime choirs. The sparkling eighth note pattern is designed to ring easily, making this surprisingly accessible piece sound a lot harder than it actually is. Set in G Major, the lovely French carol is 60 measures.
