Review:
The tune often referred to as "Lord of the Dance" is now actually a dance! This fun, accessible setting of the ever-popular "Simple Gifts" tune incorporates a hint of the carol "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day" in a lilting waltz. Optional violin/fiddle adds a terrific spark, and an ossia line provides an optional challenge for a few ringers who may want to push beyond Level 2+. The two editions are compatible for massed ringing. Arranged in G Major and A Major, this lively piece is 117 measures.
