Review:
The lively advent hymn tune BESANCON is the basis for this setting for bells and flute. Set in 6/8 meter with a metronome marking of "dotted quarter = 76", the pulse, along with accents, kicks the energy off from the opening measures. Later, mallets on tabled bells along with interesting harmonies keep the energy going. "People Look East" is 70 measures and is arranged in C Major.
