Beginning with the brisk "walk" with energy, following sections include "meeting a friend" expressed with interplay between melody and counter melodies, the slower "resting on a bench by a pond", and the return of energy with the original theme as the "walker" heads for home. There is also an appropriate interpretation and alternate title, "New Every Morning", if the piece is to be used in a religious service. Written in G Major and Eb Major, this work is 87 measures.
