Review:
A staccato effect in an unhurried tempo offers up initial accompaniment to this beloved hymn tune. In later sections the melody appears in the lower registers with a nice counter line running along above. “Tall” chords and a few bell changes add additional interest to the 74 measures. McChesney has set this piece is G Major.
